Police Launch Search for Missing Pensioner in Chinnor
81-Year-Old Marianna Fortman Vanishes Without Trace
Police are urgently appealing for help to find 81-year-old Marianna Fortman, who has gone missing in Chinnor. She was last spotted at around 8.30am on June 2nd near Wykeman Rise.
What Marianna Looks Like
- White female, approximately 5ft 5ins tall
- Small build
- Brown-red hair, shoulder length
- Last seen wearing blue jeans and either a white or burgundy jumper
She Is Known to Roam Local Fields and Woods
Marieanna often visits the fields close to Wykeman Rise and the woods between the sports ground and Woodway in Chinnor, where she may still be. Concern is mounting among officers and family alike.
“We would like anyone who may have seen Marieanna or knows where she could be to get in touch,” said Inspector Aidan Donohoe from Abingdon police station.
“Officers and her family are concerned about her and we would like to locate her as soon as possible.”
“If you see this Marieanna, please get in contact with either your family or the police, to let us know you are safe.”
