Tragic Fatal Collision in Leysdown-on-Sea: Woman in Her 70s Dies
A white Seat Exeo estate struck a pedestrian at around 4.45pm on Tuesday, 6 December 2022. The crash happened on the B2231 Leysdown Road near the junction with Bay View Gardens.
Victim Pushing Trolley Bag, Dies at the Scene
Emergency services rushed to the scene, including officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service. The victim, a woman in her 70s, was pushing a trolley bag when she was hit. She tragically died at the scene.
Kent Police Launch Serious Collision Investigation
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is probing the incident. They are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward immediately.
