Dash Cam Hunt After Mapperton Hill Smash
Police are on the lookout for dash cam footage following a nasty crash on the B3092 at Mapperton Hill, between Gillingham and Mere, yesterday afternoon (02/02).
Two Cars Collide Head-On
A black BMW 730 was heading north when it smashed into a cream Renault Captur travelling south at around 1.45pm. The collision was serious enough to hospitalise the Renault driver with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The Renault passenger and the BMW driver were also taken to hospital for treatment.
Road Closed for Hours
The crash caused chaos, shutting the road for about three hours as emergency crews recovered both vehicles.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
