Local boy killed in motorcycle collision

Qusai Alomar, just 12 years old and from the local Sudbury area, has tragically died after a road traffic accident. The incident happened on Thursday, 16 September at 5.06pm on Harrow Road when Qusai was hit by a motorcycle.

Family supported as investigation continues

His family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers. Emergency services rushed to the scene, and Qusai was taken to hospital, but sadly passed away on Sunday, 19 September.

Motorcyclist stopped; police hunt answers

The motorcyclist stayed at the scene. No arrests have been made yet as detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command carry out ongoing inquiries.

Witnesses urged to come forward

Police are appealing for anyone with information or dash-cam footage to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 020 8246 9820, call 101, or tweet @MetCC quoting CAD 5252/16Sep.
