Gladiators: The Walsh Legacy
Gladiators has always been in the Walsh blood. Donna Walsh, Barney’s mum and Bradley’s wife, was the head choreographer for the original series’ cheerleaders. Bradley and a very young Barney were regulars on set, where Barney even took his first steps on the iconic arena floor.
Not one to be outdone, Bradley followed his son’s lead by competing in a Celebrities vs Jockeys special back in 1997!

Bradley Walsh said: “Wow! I can’t believe I’ve been asked to be part of this iconic show. I used to sit backstage or in the audience every week, watching my wife be part of this juggernaut. Now, I get to co-host a new version of GLADIATORS!!! Saturday night family entertainment at its best… ARE YOU READY?”
Barney Walsh added: “Gladiators has been a massive part of our family and it’s an honour to be asked to co-host this iconic show. I’m so excited for everyone to see the spectacle, elite athletes and fantastic family entertainment that is GLADIATORS.”

The 11-part series, produced by Hungry Bear Media and MGM Alternative UK, introduces a fresh generation of superhuman Gladiators. These warriors will battle a fierce group of contenders in thrilling new games, alongside fan-fave classics like DUEL, HANG TOUGH, and THE ELIMINATOR.
