Woman Attacked on Woodland Path in Cheadle
Police were called to a sexual assault reported on a woodland footpath between Brood Road and Mill Lane, Cheadle, at around 6.40pm last Saturday.
Terrifying Encounter Behind Alexandra Hospital
A woman walking the wooded path behind Alexandra Hospital spotted a man following her. Moments later, a male ran past her heading towards 1 Mill.
Shortly after, a man — believed to be the same one — grabbed her bottom and pulled at her t-shirt and hair.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Sergeant Matthew Tarr of Stockport CID said: “This was a scary assault on a lone female who was simply going for a walk and is now extremely shaken up.”
He added: “We’re asking anyone who may have seen or recognised the male pictured to come forward so that we can continue our investigation.”
