Knife-Point Robbery Shakes East Grinstead Shop
Sussex Police are on the hunt for a man involved in a knife-point robbery at East Grinstead Food and Wine on London Road. The chilling incident happened just before 9am on Saturday, 27 July.
Thief Threatened Shopkeeper, Made Off with Tobacco and Booze
The suspect barged into the store, brandished a knife, and demanded goods from the terrified shopkeeper. He fled with a small stash of tobacco and alcohol. Luckily, the shopkeeper escaped without physical harm but was left visibly shaken.
Police Release Image, Plead for Public Help
Officers have released a CCTV image of the man they want to speak to, believing he holds vital information. Sussex Police are urging anyone who recognises the man or knows anything about the robbery to come forward immediately.
