M3 Motorway Shuts Down After Serious Crash – Woman Airlifted to Hospital
The M3 northbound is still shut after a grave collision between a lorry and a car. Police were called to the scene around 1:15pm on 6 June, between junctions 3 and 2.
Woman Airlifted with Serious Injuries
The car’s female passenger has been airlifted to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. The male driver was taken by ambulance but only suffered minor wounds. Meanwhile, the lorry driver is cooperating fully with police investigations.
Major Road Closure Causes Delays
Three lanes of the M3 northbound remain closed between junctions 3 and 2 as emergency teams work at the scene. Officers are doing their best to reopen the road quickly, but motorists face ongoing delays.
