Plan Your Journey – Diversions in Place
The Dartford Crossing spans the Thames, linking Kent and Essex, and is a critical artery for thousands of motorists every day. To keep things moving as smoothly as possible during these closures, alternative routes via local roads and the National Highways network will be signposted.
Still, expect delays and consider alternative crossings if you can. Motorists are urged to check for updates regularly as bad weather could force last-minute changes to the schedule.
Stay Safe, Stay Updated
“Road users should stay informed of any updates and travel with caution around the affected areas,” say the Dartford maintenance team.
Don’t get caught out – mark your calendars and plan ahead this first weekend of March to dodge the Dartford disruption drama!
