Tragedy struck Vine Close, E5, on Tuesday evening when gunfire erupted between rival gangs, leaving one woman dead and two others wounded.
Deadly Shooting Rocks East London Street
Police rushed to Vine Close at 6.28pm on 5 December following reports of a shooting. Alongside London Ambulance paramedics, officers found three people suffering from gunshot wounds.
Despite frantic efforts, a 42-year-old woman caught in the crossfire tragically died at the scene. The two other victims remain hospitalised.

Her next of kin are being informed and supported by specialist officers. Police pledged to keep the public updated as the probe unfolds, acknowledging the community’s call for justice.
