A man has been rushed to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries following a crash in Chelmsford tonight.
Crash Shuts Parkway Near Odeon Roundabout
Parkway remains closed after a collision between a Ford van and a cyclist shortly before 6pm on Tuesday, 19 May. The smash happened near the Odeon roundabout, causing major disruption.
Cyclist’s Injuries Could Be Life-Threatening
Roads Policing officers attended the scene swiftly. The cyclist, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries that could be life-threatening or life-altering.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dash Cam Footage
No arrests have been made, and investigations are ongoing. Officers urge anyone who saw the collision or has dash cam footage to contact Essex Police on 101, quoting incident 962 of 19 May.
