Police Launch Urgent Search for Missing Barefoot Man in East Sussex
Police have launched a desperate hunt for Matthew, a 34-year-old man who vanished from Herstmonceux, East Sussex. He was last sighted barefoot, boarding a train in the early hours of Saturday, July 5.

Matthew is believed to have gone missing around 11:45pm on Friday, July 4. His last confirmed sighting was at 5:00am the following morning, when he got on a train at Polegate heading towards Lewes — without any shoes on.

Public Warned to Stay Alert
Officers warn Matthew may be in a vulnerable state and urge anyone travelling by train or in the surrounding areas to keep an eye out. The search extends beyond East Sussex, with special attention on London, Oxford, and Watford.
