Good news for worried family and friends of missing Portsmouth man Liam Coombes. After vanishing from his home on Tuesday, Liam has reached out to say he is safe – but still hasn’t revealed his whereabouts.
Liam Contacts Family, But Mystery Remains
Penny Coombes, Liam’s mum of three from Gosport, confirmed the news. “Liam called to say he is safe and well this afternoon,” she said. “But he hasn’t told us where he is or where he’s been staying.”

The family launched a massive social media appeal to find Liam after he disappeared while heading to work in Gosport from his Kitby Road home in Portsmouth.
Support poured in from across the UK, with hundreds sharing posts and offering help. Penny expressed her heartfelt thanks to everyone who took part in the search and sent messages of support.
Family Requests Privacy Amid Resolution
While relieved Liam is safe, the family now asks for some private time to process the last few tense days.
