Elderly Woman Brutally Robbed and Injured in Dundee

An 80-year-old woman suffered serious facial injuries after being pushed to the ground and robbed at around 10.20pm to 10.50pm on Saturday, 26 November. The attack took place at the junction of Lilybank Terrace and Lilybank Road in Dundee.

The victim’s handbag, containing a three-figure sum of money, was stolen in the terrifying assault. She was rushed to Ninewells Hospital but has since been released following treatment.

Police Hunt Two Male Teens in Dark Clothes

Officers are urgently appealing for witnesses after spotting two male youths, believed to be in their late teens and both dressed in dark clothing, near the scene. They were last seen heading towards Broughty Ferry Road.

Detective Sergeant Craig Kelly said: “This lady was robbed and left not only seriously injured but distraught by what happened. We are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or who knows who the youths are and where they might be.”
