London Drug Dealer Caught Red-Handed in Norfolk Crackdown
Elisha Windett, 26, from London, has been slammed with a jail sentence at Norwich Crown Court. He pleaded guilty to supply of crack cocaine and heroin, plus possessing a knife. His arrest came after a joint sting by Norfolk Police’s County Lines Team and the Met Police on January 17, 2020.
Operation Orochi Beats County Lines Drug Network
The bust was part of Operation Orochi, a crackdown using mobile phone data to track London-based County Lines gangs spreading drugs into Norfolk. Just before his arrest on Mousehold Street, Windett was caught trying to ditch a knife. Officers also seized multiple phones and cash on him.
Cash and Phones Crack the Case Wide Open
A car search uncovered over £1,300 in cash. Phone records revealed Windett ran the notorious ‘Rico’ County Line from September 2019 until his capture. Police say this is a major win in dismantling the drug routes flooding Norfolk’s streets.
PC Martyn Laycock said: “This latest sentencing under Operation Orochi demonstrates our excellent partnership work with the Metropolitan Police and our continued commitment to targeting those individuals running County Lines in Norfolk.”
