12-Year-Old Jamie-Lee Missing After Last Seen Boarding Train at Ayr
Jamie-Lee disappeared around 3.30pm on Tuesday, 14 March. She was spotted at Ayr train station boarding a train to Glasgow but may have jumped off at Irvine. She’s known to hang around Irvine, Kilwinning, and Saltcoats.
Police Launch Search Across Ayrshire and Glasgow
Search efforts are in full swing across Ayrshire. Officers are also working with Glasgow City Centre teams and the British Transport Police. Jamie-Lee is known to visit the Union Street area, so they’re checking that too.
What Jamie-Lee Was Wearing – And What She Looks Like
- Height: 5ft
- Build: Medium
- Hair: Long, light brown
- Clothes when last seen: Black padded jacket, jumper, leggings, and trainers
Police Plead for Help to Find Jamie-Lee
Inspector Alex Beagrie of Irvine Police Station said: “Although Jamie-Lee has gone missing before, she’s never been away this long. She’s only 12 and hasn’t been seen since Tuesday. We’re very concerned and doing everything we can to find her safe and well.”
