Tower Hamlets Cops Nab Nitrous Oxide Duo Bingeing in Parked Car
Plainclothes officers from Tower Hamlets Task Force (THTF) caught a man and woman red-handed inhaling nitrous oxide in a parked car in E14. The pair had inhaled a staggering 16 bottles of the gas over just three hours – and more full canisters were still in the vehicle.
Repeat Offenders Face Court Over Class C Drug Charges
Shockingly, the pair had been busted for the same offence only six weeks earlier. Both have now been summonsed to court for possession of a Class C drug. All remaining nitrous oxide bottles were seized by officers.
Driver’s Licence at Risk Amidst Nitrous Abuse Crackdown
In a further clampdown, Tower Hamlets police submitted an Operation Revoke request to the DVLA, urging suspension of the female driver’s licence due to her involvement in the nitrous misuse.
The Tower Hamlets Task Force confirmed this is all part of their ongoing battle against substance abuse and efforts to boost community safety.
