Brian May Drops Rare Queen Xmas Track!

Queen fans, brace yourselves! Sir Brian May is unveiling a never-before-heard Queen song, Not For Sale (Polar Bear), this Christmas on his Planet Rock special.

Lost Track From Queen II Sessions Emerges

The track dates back to the 1974 Queen II recording sessions but stayed hidden until now. Sir Brian spills, “It’s a song that goes back a very long way, but to my knowledge no one has ever heard this version.”

This rare gem is a teaser from a major Queen II deluxe reissue hitting shelves in 2026. But Brian’s giving fans an early listen exclusively on his show.

He adds, “It’s a work in progress and will appear on the forthcoming rebuild of the Queen II album – coming next year – but I’m sneaking this into my Planet Rock special because I’m fascinated to know what people think about it.”

More Festive Bangers On The Playlist

The Christmas special won’t just be about Queen. Sir Brian will spin yuletide favourites from Slade, Chuck Berry, The Crystals, and cult comedy rocker Bad News.

Fans can also enjoy a seasonal tune from his wife, singer and actress Anita Dobson.
