Met Police Launch New Appeal to Find Fiona Holm’s Missing Remains

Family Faces Second Christmas Without Answers

The Metropolitan Police have issued a fresh appeal to find the remains of 48-year-old Fiona Holm. Her family is enduring a second heartbreaking Christmas without closure. A reward of up to £20,000 is being offered for any information that leads to recovering her remains.

Murder Conviction, But Body Still Missing

Fiona vanished after leaving a property on Verdant Lane, 1, on June 20, 2023. She was reported missing nine days later. Her partner, Carl Cooper, was convicted in July 2024 for her murder, which happened in his flat on Broadfield Road.

Cooper, who also killed girlfriend Naomi Hunte in Woolwich in 2022, went to great lengths to cover up Fiona’s death. Despite his conviction, Fiona’s body has never been found, leaving her family devastated.

Police Leave No Stone Unturned in Search

Detective Chief Inspector Kate Blackburn, leading the investigation, said:

“We’ve deployed specialist teams to search places Fiona might be, including open spaces, water bodies, cars, houses, and lockups. We’ve reviewed thousands of hours of CCTV, analysed phone data, and interviewed hundreds of witnesses, including Fiona’s loved ones.”

DCI Blackburn added: “Now that Cooper has been convicted, we urge anyone with information, however small, to come forward.”

Family’s Plea for Closure

Fiona’s family describe her as kind and loving, and they remain haunted by the unanswered questions.

Her daughter Savannah revealed the family’s pain:

“It’s the second Christmas without Mum. The heartache and sleepless nights carry on, not knowing where she is. Finding her remains would be difficult but would finally bring some peace. Nan is especially broken, missing her daughter’s big heart and kindness.”
