Two Charged After Double Stabbing Shakes Bootle

Blades Drawn in Afternoon Scuffle

Detectives have charged two men following a double stabbing in Bootle on Monday, 10 May. Police were called just after 3.50pm to reports of an assault on Glover Place.

Victims Hurt in Knife Attack

A man in his 40s and another in his 60s were involved in a fight with two other males. Both suffered injuries consistent with a bladed weapon but have been treated for minor wounds and are now recovering.

Young Duo Face Court Over Attack

  • 19-year-old Jack Nolan, of Cricklade Close, Bootle, charged with two counts of wounding/GBH and possession of a knife in public.
  • 18-year-old Charles George, of Church Gardens, Bootle, faces two counts of wounding/GBH, knife possession, and assault by beating.

Both are due to appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court this morning, Wednesday 12 May.
