Chaos erupted in Stratford today as eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters raced to tackle a small fire inside a retail unit on Montifichet Road.

The alarm was raised just after 10am on Sunday at the Watches of Switzerland store. Fire crews were swiftly scrambled to the scene, joined by officers from the Met Police and the A “HART” tram team.
