Merseyside Police have swooped on a flat in Orrell Park, Liverpool, busting a 19-year-old suspect and confiscating a gun, drugs, and cash.
Early Morning Blitz Under Operation Toxic
At around 7am on Wednesday 22 April, officers executed a warrant on Moss Lane as part of Operation Toxic. This crackdown is linked to Project Medusa, a targeted initiative fighting County Lines drug dealing and child criminal exploitation across the UK.
What They Found
- A pistol and ammunition
- Suspected Class A drugs – heroin and crack cocaine
- Class B drugs – ketamine and cannabis
- Cash believed to be linked to criminal activity
Charges Laid
The arrested Liverpool man faces multiple serious charges:
- Offering to supply Class A drugs
- Possession of a firearm without a certificate
- Possession with intent to supply Class A (crack cocaine) and Class B (ketamine, cannabis) drugs
- Handling criminal property
He is now in custody for questioning. The firearm has been made safe by police.
