Woman and Child Airlifted After Horror Crash in Rochester
A woman and a young child were rushed to hospital by air ambulance following a smash with a car in Rochester this morning.

The collision happened just after 10 a.m. on City Way, a key route linking Rochester to the motorway network. Paramedics, police, and firefighters swiftly arrived to tackle the drama.
Air Ambulance Touches Down at Jackson’s Fields
The air ambulance landed nearby at Jackson’s Fields, close to a local recreation ground. Both victims were flown to King’s College Hospital. Luckily, their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening – a relief for all involved.
Traffic Chaos and First Aid at the Scene
The air ambulance stayed on site for about 90 minutes while traffic crawled along City Way.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “One fire engine attended, and crews administered first aid to two people, who were passed into the care of SECAmb paramedics.
