Police Launch Urgent Hunt for Missing Teen in Reading
Thames Valley Police are frantically searching for 16-year-old Anatonia Bataiosu, who has been missing from her Reading home for more than two weeks. The Romanian-speaking teen was last spotted on Tuesday 3 July at her Ashampstead Road address.
Worrying Signs for Missing Girl’s Safety
Concerns are mounting for Anatonia’s wellbeing. Described as a slim, white female, Anatonia speaks Romanian and was seen wearing shorts, a vest, and a grey cardigan before she vanished.
Police Plea: “You Are Not in Any Trouble”
Inspector Rich Jarvis, leading the investigation from Reading police station, said: “Anatonia has not been seen for 17 days now, and we are growing increasingly worried about her safety.”
He added: “We don’t know if she has access to money. Anyone who has seen her should call 101 quoting reference 43180200906.”
Inspector Jarvis made a direct plea to Anatonia: “If you see this, please get in touch. You are not in any trouble — we just want to make sure you are safe.”
