Armed robber strikes in Crawley – police hunt masked thief
Knife-wielding suspect targets trio in broad daylight
Police are urgently seeking witnesses after a terrifying armed robbery in Crawley on 18 May. At around 10:30am, a man brandishing a knife threatened three people in Broadfield Barton before snatching a bag and speeding off on a motorised bike.
Youth described as 15-17, dressed all in black
The suspect is believed to be between 15 and 17 years old, about 5’5″ tall. He was wearing a black balaclava, a black Canada Goose coat with a fur hood, black tracksuit trousers, and carried a black rucksack.
Police release image, plea for info and footage
Authorities have released an image of a person they want to speak to in connection with the incident. They are appealing for anyone who witnessed the robbery or has dashcam footage to come forward immediately.
