Body Found in Harefield Waterway – Tragic Death Confirmed
Police were called to The Royal Quay in Harefield on Thursday, January 18, 2024, just after 2pm following reports of a body found in the water.
Female Victim Recovered, Pronounced Dead at Scene
Officers arrived swiftly and discovered a female submerged in the water. Emergency services recovered her with care but, sadly, she was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police have not released her identity yet but have informed next of kin.
No Foul Play Suspected – Investigation Underway
Authorities say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the woman’s death. “There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances,” a Met Police spokesperson confirmed. However, a full investigation is underway to uncover exactly what happened.
