Police Hunt Witnesses After Serious Wandsworth Road Crash
The Serious Collisions Investigation Unit is urgently appealing for witnesses after a nasty smash involving a pedestrian and a lorry on Wandsworth Road, SW8.
Pedestrian Critically Hurt in Vauxhall Horror Crash
Just before 1pm on Monday 20 August, emergency services were called to the scene opposite Vauxhall Bus Garage. A 55-year-old woman was struck by a lorry and rushed to a South London hospital. She remains in a critical condition.
Lorry Driver Stays at Scene, Helping Police
The lorry driver stopped immediately after the collision and is fully cooperating with officers as inquiries continue.
Police Seek Dashcam and Eyewitness Video
Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command want to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam or phone footage.
