Crash Chaos in Nuthall: Two Hurt, Man Held on Drug-Driving Charges

Police are hunting for witnesses after a serious crash on Low Wood Road, Nuthall, left two people in hospital.

Two Hospitalised After Late Evening Smash

The collision between two cars happened at around 8.40pm on Wednesday. A man and a woman, both in their twenties, suffered serious injuries but are expected to survive.

Arrest Made Amid Drug-Driving Claims

A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene. He faces charges of drug-driving and causing serious injury by careless driving. He remains in police custody as enquiries continue.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Detective Sergeant Steven Willetts said: “This was a very serious collision that left two people in hospital with serious injuries. We want to understand what happened before, during, and after the crash. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage should come forward.”
