Man Charged with Murder of Southampton Pensioner
Detectives have charged Tommy Scott, 34, with the murder of 66-year-old Gerald Pragnell. Mr Pragnell’s body was discovered in woodland off Cemetery Road, Southampton, on Saturday, 3 November.
Suspect Due in Court
Scott, who has no fixed address, is set to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court tomorrow morning (Tuesday, 6 November).
Others Released But Probe Continues
Six other individuals arrested in connection with the case were released from custody. However, they remain under investigation as police continue to piece together what happened.
