Three Held as Man Left Fighting for Life After Enfield Stabbing
A man remains in critical condition after a brutal stabbing in Enfield. Dominic Alexander, 25, was found with life-threatening injuries following a late-night brawl.
Stabbing Sparks Police Hunt for Witnesses
Police were called to Green Street, Enfield at 12:40am on Tuesday, 26 February after reports of a fight. Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene and treated Dominic for stab wounds before rushing him to hospital.
His family has been informed about the attack.
Three Men Arrested on Suspicion of Attempted Murder
Officers arrested three men at the scene. They were taken to a north London police station and later bailed until late March. The investigation is now being led by Detective Chief Inspector John Massey at the Homicide and Major Crime Command.
Attack Linked to Dispute Near Local Pub
Early police reports suggest the incident stemmed from a dispute near the Sporting Green pub at Central Parade, Enfield. However, detectives have not ruled out other motives.
DCI Massey said: “This was a horrific attack on a young man who has been left with very serious injuries and is fighting for his life in hospital. If you know anything please contact us.”
