Crash on M26 Sparks Emergency Response

Kent Police rushed to the scene at 1:49pm on Thursday, 25 April after a collision between two cars on the eastbound M26, between junctions 1 and 2A.

Person Trapped and Injured

Emergency crews, including officers and the South East Coast Ambulance Service, are treating injuries on site. One person remains trapped inside a vehicle, with rescue teams working to free them.

Road Closures and Air Ambulance Landing

The eastbound carriageway is currently shut as emergency services handle the incident. The westbound side will also close briefly to allow the air ambulance to land safely.

Drivers Urged to Find Alternative Routes

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and plan alternative journeys while the scene is cleared. Expect delays and take care on surrounding roads.
