Met Police car involved in collison on busy Blackfen Junction near Sidcup

A Met Police car has collided with a Grey Mercedes on Blackfen Road in Blackfen near Sidcup causing traffic chaos this afternoon. Part of the road remains cordon off whilst collision scene officers carry out their investigation work following the collision.   The London Fire Brigade also attended to make the vehicles safe following a spill of liquids from both vehicles A spokesman for the Met Police said :

At around 3.30pm on Sunday, 1 December a police vehicle was involved in a collision with a vehicle driven by a member of the public in Blackfen Road, Bexley. The London Ambulance services and the fire service both  attended. Two people were treated for minor injuries.Road closures were in place.
