A man died after being found collapsed with a head injury on Nelson Street, East London. Police have charged two men with murder in connection with the case.
Man Found with Head Injury Dies in Hospital
On Tuesday, 19 November, officers were called to Nelson Street, E1, where Mr. Miah was discovered unconscious with a head injury. He was rushed to hospital but sadly died two days later on Thursday, 21 November.
Two Men Charged with Murder
- Hassan Mohammed, 31, of Cumberland Road, portsmouth/" title="Portsmouth" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Portsmouth, was arrested on Sunday, 24 November. He was charged with murder on Wednesday, 27 November, and remanded to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court the same day.
- Nanu Miah, 20, of 1 Street, Southwark, was arrested on Thursday, 28 November. He was charged with murder on Friday, 29 November, and remanded to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 30 November.

Both men have been remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on Friday, 14 December.
Women Arrested but Released on Bail
- On Sunday, 24 November, a 30-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has been released on bail until late December.
- On Monday, 25 November, a 40-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder but has since been released on bail until mid-December.
