Gang charged over Ashford PC World Raid

Four men have been charged with a burglary at an electrical store in Ashford. Numerous items, including laptop computers, are reported to have been stolen during an early morning break-in at the shop in Norman Road on 12 December 2019. Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, authority was given to charge the following men with burglary: Vervelis Stanci, 22, of no fixed address. Ion Mihai, 26, of no fixed address. Marcel Agantin, 18, of no fixed address. Florin Radu, 18, of no fixed address. Each man was remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 14 December. At the hearing, they were further remanded in custody and will next appear at Canterbury Crown Court on 13 January 2020. An additional eight men, aged between 20 and 56, were also arrested in connection with the offence and an additional burglary at an electrical store in Otford Road, Sevenoaks, committed during the early hours of 10 December. All of these men have been bailed, pending further enquiries, until early January 2020.
