Four Men Charged Over Ashford Electrical Store Burglary

Four men have been hit with burglary charges following a daring early morning raid on an electrical store in Ashford. The break-in on Norman Road on 12 December 2019 saw numerous items, including laptops, stolen.

Charged and Remanded

After consulting the Crown Prosecution Service, police charged:

  • Vervelis Stanci, 22, no fixed address
  • Ion Mihai, 26, no fixed address
  • Marcel Agantin, 18, no fixed address
  • Florin Radu, 18, no fixed address

All four were remanded in custody and appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 14 December. They remain in custody and face their next hearing at Canterbury Crown Court on 13 January 2020.

More Arrests Linked to Electrical Store Raids

In a related development, eight more men, aged 20 to 56, were arrested over burglaries at the Ashford store and another electrical shop on Otford Road, Sevenoaks, targeted on 10 December.

These men have been released on bail until early January 2020, while investigations continue.
