18-Year-Old Slough Man Stabbed to Death in Shocking Attack
Thames Valley Police are hunting for answers after an 18-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Slough on Saturday night. Officers rushed to Benjamin Lane, Wexham, at around 7.55pm following reports of an altercation that ended in tragedy.
Victim Named as Mohammed Aman Ashraq
Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service took the injured man to Wexham Park Hospital. Despite emergency efforts, Mohammed Aman Ashraq was pronounced dead later that evening. A post-mortem confirmed he died from stab wounds to his chest and abdomen.
Two Arrested as Investigation Continues
Two fellow 18-year-olds from Slough have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody. Warrants for further detention were granted at Slough Magistrates Court on Monday.
Police have lifted the road closure on Benjamin Lane but some scene watches are still in place as detectives dig deeper. Senior Investigating Officer Detective Inspector Dejan Avramovic said:
“We are continuing our investigation into the murder of Mr Ashraq and supporting his family with specially trained officers. Two men remain in custody and we are following up several lines of enquiry.”

Police Pledge Increased Patrols to Reassure Community
Slough’s Local Policing Area Commander, Superintendent Lee Barnham, addressed the community:
“This tragic loss deeply affects Mr Ashraq’s family and the wider community. We are conducting a thorough investigation and will increase neighbourhood patrols to support residents during this difficult time.”
