Armed Thugs Raid Elderly Woman’s Home in Hounslow!
Detectives are hunting four men who smashed their way into a Hounslow house and threatened an elderly woman during a terrifying aggravated burglary.
Hammer-Wielding Gang Targets Sleeping Pensioner
At around 10:40pm on Saturday 19 August, four men forced entry into a Westwick Gardens home. Armed with hammers and screwdrivers, they confronted a male occupant, demanding valuables.
They then ransacked the property before stealing a hefty haul of jewellery and watches from the elderly lady, who was asleep in bed at the time. Thankfully, she was not physically harmed.
Suspects Described as Irish-Speaking White Males
- Four suspects, all white men speaking with Irish accents.
- One about 6ft tall, in his 50s.
- Others aged late teens to early 20s, around 5ft 7ins tall.
- They fled in a silver saloon car, possibly a Peugeot 406.
Police Urge Public to Come Forward
Detective Constable Matthew Burt said: “This was a horrible crime in which a vulnerable woman had her property taken from her as she lay in what should have been the safety of her own bedroom. We urge anyone with information about these men or who spotted a silver car near Westwick Gardens that night to get in touch.”
He added: “It is vitally important these men are caught before they hurt anyone else.”
