Two Held After Brazen Burglary and Car Theft in Twydall

Break-in While Victims Slept

Two suspects were remanded in custody following a shocking burglary in Twydall. The break-in happened during the early hours of Thursday, 23 April 2020, when the victims were asleep in their Hawthorne Avenue home.

Two Cars Stolen and Recovered

The burglars made off with two cars from the property. However, Kent Police quickly recovered both vehicles, preventing a further crime spree.

Suspects Busted and Charged

On the morning of the burglary, officers arrested 23-year-old Cobaine Holden from Littlehampton, West Sussex, and a 17-year-old boy from Bromley. Both men were charged with burglary, aggravated vehicle taking, driving without a licence, and uninsured driving.

Next Court Date Set

The pair appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 24 April, where they were remanded in custody. They are due back at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, 22 May.
