Blazing Barn Fire in Rolvenden Sparks Major Fire Response
Kent Fire and Rescue Service raced to tackle a barn fire on Halden Lane, Rolvenden, near Tenterden early this morning.
Three Fire Engines and Bulk Water Carrier Battle Flames
At the height of the blaze, firefighters deployed three fire engines plus a bulk water carrier. High-pressure hose reel jets were used to douse the flames and bring the fire under control.
Fire Now Under Control with No Injuries Reported
The situation has calmed with just one fire engine remaining on site. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
A Kent Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “Our crews worked efficiently to bring the fire under control. The bulk water carrier was particularly useful in ensuring a steady supply of water to tackle the flames effectively.”
Smoke Alarms and Ongoing Investigation
Local residents spotted thick smoke rising but emergency services quickly reassured the public that the fire was being managed safely.
