Knife-Wielding Thug Steals Bike from Paperboy in Bold Morning Robbery
At around 8am on Tuesday, 13 October, a paperboy was targeted in Northlands Gardens. Two men, one on foot and one on a bike, confronted him. The man on foot threatened the youngster with a knife, demanding his mountain bike. He then snatched the bike and sped off.
Suspects Spotted: Descriptions Released
- Knife-wielding man: White, 18 years old, 6ft tall, average build. Light brown, cropped hair styled in a perm. Wearing grey Nike tracksuit bottoms and a grey hoodie with the hood up.
- Accomplice on bike: White, 18 years old, 6ft tall, skinny build. Short brown hair, shorter on back and sides. Dressed in plain grey tracksuit bottoms, grey hoodie with hood up, glossy black puffer vest, and a black face mask.
Stolen Bike: Red Scott Aspect Mountain Bike
Police have released a photo of the stolen bike to help the investigation. It’s a red Scott Aspect mountain bike featuring “SR SUNTOUR” on the front suspension. It also had a white LED light with a black casing on the front.
