Havant Man Jailed for Stabbing Friend Over Row

Harry Robin Vincent, 22, from Dunsbury Way, Havant, has been found guilty of wounding with intent. He appeared at Portsmouth Crown Court on Friday, January 15, for sentencing following a violent attack in April 2019.

Stabbing Leaves Victim Seriously Injured

The assault happened on April 7, 2019, after a heated argument between Vincent and a friend. Vincent stabbed the victim three times, causing deep cuts to his left leg, right leg, and right wrist — all needing stitches.

The victim has since made a full recovery.

Police Warn Crime Won’t Be Tolerated

“This was a serious assault that could easily have had more serious consequences,” said Detective Constable Carla-Marie Moore. “Thankfully, assaults of this type are rare and I hope today’s sentence reassures the public that this type of crime will not be tolerated in Havant.”
