Man Left Fighting for Life After Church Street Shooting
Police were called to Church Street around 9pm on Saturday, 13 March following reports of a shooting. On arrival, officers found a man in his 30s with gunshot wounds to his leg and stomach.
The victim was rushed to a south London hospital by the London Ambulance Service and remains in an induced coma. His next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
Police Hunt Key Witness in Critical Shooting Case
Detective Constable Melanie Burridge from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command said: “We have been carrying out a range of enquiries and I am now appealing for the person in this image to contact us immediately.
“I would like to make it clear that you are not in any trouble, but we believe you may have vital information about an incident which resulted in a man being left in a critical condition in hospital.”
Two Arrested and Charged—Police Still Need Your Help
Two people have been arrested and charged over the shooting and are currently remanded in custody. However, police say the investigation is ongoing.
