Leamington Weapon Arrest: Young Man Charged
A 22-year-old man has been hit with a charge following a weapons incident in Leamington on Monday afternoon (10 May).
Man from Luton Faces Court
Hugh Gwazaza, 22, of Whitefield Avenue, Luton, was charged with possession of an offensive weapon. He appeared at Coventry Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (11 May) and is set to return on 4 June 2021.
Incident at Eagle Recreational Ground
The charge relates to an event at Eagle Recreational Ground in Leamington on Monday.
Two More Men Arrested
- Two other men, aged 21 and 22 from Coventry, were also arrested on suspicion of possessing offensive weapons.
- They remain on bail with conditions pending further investigation.
