“Donovan was born small, surrounded by love from his dad, nana and three uncles,” the family said. “He attracted love from everyone he met – judo instructors, football coaches, even his barber.

“He prayed morning and night and always put others first. Donovan made everyone feel special and believed the world was as kind as he was.

“He was a mummy’s boy, daddy’s boy, uncle’s boy and grandparents’ boy – confident, charming and adored by his siblings.

“Though we can no longer see or touch him, his love will live on in our hearts. He was planning his birthday party and was the happiest he’d ever been. There are no words to describe how much he will be missed.”
