Girl Spotted Climbing Into Mysterious Van
Police identified the missing girl as Rosie Evans-Foster, 14, from Paulsgrove, near Portsmouth. She was seen climbing into a grey Volkswagen van with tinted windows near Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham at around 9pm on Friday.
19-Year-Old Man Busted Over Child Abduction
Officers launched a rapid appeal after concerns for Rosie’s safety. A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of child abduction. He’s also being questioned for drug driving and remains in custody.
Police Hunt for Van After Quick Getaway
The grey Volkswagen van reportedly sped off shortly after Rosie got in. Police urged anyone with information on the vehicle or the girl’s whereabouts to come forward immediately.
