London Drugs Duo Busted in County Lines Crackdown
Prince Duah, 27, and Tyreece Morgan, 26, have been locked up following a major drugs probe linking London to Eastleigh. The pair were arrested in a joint operation by Hampshire, Metropolitan Police, and Surrey officers targeting a County Lines network running Class A drugs out of the capital.
£3,000 Cash and Phones Seized
Duah, from Penelopy House in London, and Morgan, from Croydon’s Northcote Avenue, were caught red-handed. Police swooped and seized around £3,000 in cash and multiple mobile phones during the arrests.
Hefty Sentences at Southampton Crown Court
After a trial at Southampton Crown Court on 16 August 2021, both men were found guilty of conspiring to supply Class A drugs. On 10 March, Duah was slapped with six-and-a-half years behind bars for drug supply, plus an additional six months for possession of counterfeit cash, served concurrently. Morgan received a three-year prison term.
Police Send Strong Warning to Drug Dealers
“I hope that today’s sentencing sends out a strong message to drug dealers and those involved in crime associated with drug deal networks, that offences of this kind will not be tolerated in Hampshire,” said Detective Constable Emma Atkey from Hampshire’s Western Investigations team.
Eastleigh District Commander, Chief Inspector Marcus Cator, added: “We are actively working to disrupt County Lines drug dealing and our aim is to prevent the exploitation of vulnerable people, while making sure that Eastleigh remains a safe place to work and live.”
