A seventh person has been arrested in connection with an investigation into a disturbance in Chatham.
On Saturday, June 4, 2022, a 22-year-old man from Chatham was arrested on suspicion of array.
His arrest was made in connection with an incident on Thursday, May 26th, in which a group of men got into a fight in Chatham High Street around 3pm.
All seven men were arrested on affray charges. They were all released on police bail on various dates in June.
On Wednesday 1 June, officers arrested a 20-year-old man from Chatham, and on Saturday 28 May, officers arrested a 20-year-old man from Maidstone and a 20-year-old man from Chatham.
Officers arrested two men near the scene shortly after the incident, and a third man was arrested the next day, Friday, May 27. These men were all 20 years old and from Chatham.
