Seventh Man Busted Over Chatham High Street Brawl
Another Arrest Rocks Chatham
A seventh man has been taken into custody in connection with a violent disturbance on Chatham’s High Street.
On Saturday, June 4, cops arrested a 22-year-old local man on suspicion of affray.
Fight Broke Out Last Month
The scuffle erupted around 3pm on Thursday, May 26, involving a group of men. Police moved fast, rounding up suspects within days.
Seven Men All On Bail
- Two men nabbed near the scene immediately after the fracas, all aged 20 from Chatham.
- A third man was picked up the following day, Friday, May 27.
- On Saturday, May 28, two more men, aged 20 from maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone and Chatham, joined the list of suspects.
- More arrests followed on Wednesday, June 1, and the latest on Saturday, June 4.
All seven men face affray charges and have been released on police bail during June.
