Heroic Rescue as Person Trapped on Rocks at Folkestone
Emergency Teams Rush to Scene
A Coastguard rescue helicopter and the RNLI Littlestone Lifeboat were scrambled after a person became trapped on rocks off Lower Sandgate Road in Folkestone this evening.
Swift Action Saves the Day
The victim was quickly rescued and winched to a waiting ambulance. Coastguard teams from Folkestone and paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service arrived on scene to provide urgent assistance at around 7pm on Tuesday.
