Man Dies After Early Morning Assault in Leicestershire
Leicestershire Police were called to a serious incident at 4.23am on Friday by East Midlands Ambulance Service, who were treating a man with a severe head injury.
The victim was rushed to hospital but sadly later died from his injuries.
Suspect Released on Bail
A 20-year-old man, arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault, has now been released on bail. Police are continuing their investigation into the attack.
